✅ Gmail Storage Cleanup Guide (for Google Account Space)

🧹 Step 1: Check Your Storage Usage

  1. Go to: https://one.google.com/storage

  2. See how much space Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos are using


🧹 Step 2: Clean Up Gmail

1. Delete Large Emails with Attachments

In Gmail's search bar, type:

has:attachment larger:10M

👉 This will show emails with attachments over 10MB
✔ Delete unnecessary emails
✔ Go to Trash and empty it permanently

2. Clear Promotions & Social Tabs

  • Search category:promotions to delete marketing emails

  • Search category:social to delete social media notifications

3. Empty Spam & Trash

  • Go to the Spam and Trash folders

  • Click “Delete all” to free up space


🧹 Step 3: Clean Up Google Drive

  1. Visit: https://drive.google.com/drive/quota

  2. You'll see your files sorted by size

  3. Delete large files like PDFs, videos, or unused docs


🧹 Step 4: Clean Up Google Photos (if used)

  1. Visit: https://photos.google.com/

  2. Delete unnecessary photos or videos

  3. Don’t forget to empty the Trash
